Rattle Making Workshop

Saturday, July 26 - 12pm to 4pm - only $150 per person ($50 deposit to secure our spot, balance is due by Invoice) Join us for a unique opportunity to craft your own sacred rattle in this hands-on workshop! Using pre-prepared kits, you’ll create a personalized rattle infused with intention, sound, and spirit. What You’ll Experience: 🔹 Choose a found stick; a pre-formed rawhide rattle head with hand-stitching 🔹 Pick your filling -- crystal chips, gravel, beans, corn—whatever resonates with you 🔹 Customize with optional fur or fringe for added personal flair ✨ Bonus Experience: We’ll gather for a short drum circle, exploring the different sounds of rattles and percussion instruments. Dan will provide various options, so you don’t need to bring anything -- just an open heart and curiosity! Feel free to bring a snack & water, and an optional $10 material fee (cash at the workshop) for fur or fringe. Crystals & Specimens Available for Purchase as well. Meet Your Guide – Dan Maxon Dan Maxon of Turtle Drums is a skilled craftsman of frame drums, rattles, and spiritual tools, with deep experience in clairvoyance, spirit communication, and the healing properties of quartz. His work is influenced by his studies with Vermont Druids, Ecuadorian Shamans, and various spiritual teachers. From moccasins to boats to sacred instruments, Dan’s passion for crafting is woven into every piece he creates. Now, it’s your turn to craft something meaningful.
